The short version

We don't collect anything. No accounts, no analytics, no cookies, no ads, no tracking. Your files never leave your device – not from the desktop apps, and not from the online tools on this website.

The desktop apps

The apps only use the internet when you start something that needs it:

The optional AI connection (Claude)

The installer has an option, off by default, that lets Claude – an AI assistant made by Anthropic – use the apps for you, in Claude Desktop or Claude Code. If you turn it on and ask Claude to work with a file, the parts of the file that Claude reads become part of your conversation with Claude and are processed by Anthropic under Anthropic's privacy policy. We never see or receive any of it. If you don't turn this option on, nothing is shared with any AI service. You can switch it off any time: remove the “ethical-suite” connector in Claude's settings, or uninstall EthicalApp (which removes the connection too).

This website and the online tools

Support payments

Support payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe) on its own secure page – we never see your card details. We receive the information needed to record the payment and send a receipt, such as your name, email address and the amount. We use it only for that and for our accounting obligations, and we never sell or share it. Stripe's handling of your data is described in Stripe's privacy policy.

Emails

If you email us, we use your email only to reply to you, and delete it when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data from the apps or the website, there's usually nothing for us to show, change or delete. For payment records or emails, contact us and we'll help: .

Changes

If this ever changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change happens. We'll never start collecting data quietly.
